Heart Care Project

Introduction

This project is an endeavor to provide heart surgical service to the society, with a view to improving the lifestyle of those who may need it the most, but who are unable to afford the cost of treatment. A team of Cardiac Surgeons, Anesthetists, Nurses, Perfusionists and Allied Health Care professionals have initiated a Cardiac Surgical camp from Sydney, Australia, travelling at their own expense for about 7-10 days, for the benefit of the poor and needy.

The team is headed by Dr Robert Costa and Dr Himanshu Desai, Cardiac Surgeons from Westmead Hospital and managed by Dr Sadhana Desai.
